Definitions

Our data protection declaration is intended to be simple and understandable for everyone. In this privacy policy, the official terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) are generally used. The official definitions are explained in Art. 4 DSGVO.

Server log files

When you call up our website, it is technically necessary for data to be transmitted to our web server via your internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:

Date and time of the request
    Name of the requested file
Page from which the file was requested
    Access status
Web browser and operating system used
(Complete) IP address of the requesting computer
    Amount of data transferred

We collect the listed data to ensure a smooth connection setup of the website and to enable a comfortable use of our website by the users. In addition, the log file is used to evaluate system security and stability as well as for administrative purposes. The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data or the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies, which are stored by the browser on your device and which contain certain settings for the use of the website (e.g. for the current session). Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted after closing the browser. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them or the storage period expires. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. In part, the cookies are used to simplify website processes by storing settings (e.g. providing already selected options). If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO either for the execution of the contract or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website as well as a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, as well as activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. The cookie settings can be managed under the following links for the respective browsers.

You can also individually manage the cookies of many companies and functions that are used for advertising. To do this, use the corresponding user tools, available at www.aboutads.info/choices/ or www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices.
Most browsers also offer a so-called "do-not-track" feature, which allows you to indicate that you do not want to be "tracked" by websites. When this feature is enabled, the browser tells ad networks, websites, and applications that you do not want to be tracked for behavioral advertising and the like. For information and instructions on how to edit this feature, depending on your browser provider, see the links below:

Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/2790761
Mozilla Firefox: www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/dnt/
Internet Explorer: support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/17288/windows-internet-explorer-11-use-do-not-track
Safari: support.apple.com/kb/PH21416
Opera: help.opera.com/Windows/12.10/de/notrack.html

Additionally, you can prevent loading of so-called scripts by default. NoScript allows JavaScripts, Java and other plug-ins to run only on trusted domains of your choice. Information and instructions on how to edit this feature are available from your browser vendor (e.g. for Mozilla Firefox at: addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/noscript/).

Contact form and contact by e-mail

If you send us inquiries via contact form or e-mail, your information from the inquiry form or your e-mail, including the first and last name you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The specification of an e-mail address is required to contact us, the specification of your name and telephone number is voluntary. Under no circumstances will we pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO and, if applicable, Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, if your request is aimed at concluding a contract. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that there are no legal obligations to retain data. You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time in the case of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website with regular information about our offers and products, we require your e-mail address as mandatory information. Additional data is provided in order to be able to address you personally in the newsletter and/or to identify you if you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject.
For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you our newsletter by e-mail if you have expressly confirmed that you consent to the sending of newsletters. In the first step, you will receive an e-mail with a link that you can use to confirm that you, as the owner of the corresponding e-mail address, want to receive newsletters in the future. With the confirmation, you give us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO that we may use your personal data for the purpose of sending the desired newsletter.
When registering for the newsletter, we store, in addition to the e-mail address required for sending, the IP address through which you registered for the newsletter, as well as the date and time of registration and confirmation, in order to be able to track possible misuse at a later date.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link included in each newsletter or by sending an e-mail to the responsible person named above. After unsubscribing, your e-mail address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to the continued use of the collected data or the continued processing is otherwise permitted by law.

The dispatch of our e-mail newsletter is carried out by the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG,, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 and Rastede ("CleverReach"), to whom we pass on your data provided during newsletter registration. This transfer takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO and serves our legitimate interest in using a newsletter system that is effective in advertising, secure and user-friendly. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers in Germany.
CleverReach uses this information to send and statistically evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. For the evaluation, the sent e-mails contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files stored on our website. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. With the help of so-called conversion tracking, it can also be analyzed whether a predefined action (e.g. purchase of a product on our website) has taken place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively pseudonymously and is not linked to your other personal data, a direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you wish to object to the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.
We have concluded an order processing agreement with CleverReach, in which we oblige CleverReach to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.
You can read more information about CleverReach's data analysis here: www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.
You can view CleverReach's privacy policy here www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/.

External links

Social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Xing) are only integrated on our website as a link to the corresponding services. After clicking on the embedded text/image link, you will be redirected to the page of the respective provider. User information will only be transferred to the respective provider after the forwarding. For information on how your personal data is handled when using these websites, please refer to the respective privacy policy of the provider you are using.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
For more information on the handling of user data, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy at:
www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
The extended data protection mode is used here, which, according to the provider, only initiates storage of user information when the video(s) is/are played. If the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider "YouTube" uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to information from "YouTube", these are used, among other things, to collect video statistics, to improve user-friendliness and to prevent abusive behavior. If you are logged in to Google, your data is directly assigned to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO on the basis of Google's legitimate interests in the insertion of personalized advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
Independently of a playback of the embedded videos, a connection to the Google network "DoubleClick" is established each time this website is called up, which is done without us.

Analysis tools

a) Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

b) Google Analytics
For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies (see under section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as.

▪ Browser type/version,
▪ operating system used,
▪ referrer URL (the previously visited page),
▪ host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
▪ time of the server request,

are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these web pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in Google Analytics Help
(https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).

c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
In order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. In this process, Google Adwords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Adwords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html).

Integration of Google Maps

On this website we use the offer of Google Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function. The processing takes place on the basis of a balance of interests.
By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding sub-page of our website. In addition, the data collected during the visit to our website is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button.

Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the service provider can be found in the provider's privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy:

www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield:

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at:
https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy:
 https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ .
